Have you heard the term, “as American as apple pie.”? Did you know that this beloved dessert, did not originate in the United States? The first written apple pie recipe goes back to 1381 and it was written by Geoffrey Chaucer an English poet. The list of ingredients included good apples, good spices, figs, raisins, pears, saffron, and cofyn (a type of pastry crust).

To celebrate this staple dessert even during hot summer days, we have put together this delicious ice cream. 

Please allow the ice cream to thaw at room temperature for 10 minutes before enjoying it.
